David Abel is an intellectual property lawyer with experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret and unfair competition litigation.
He has prepared and prosecuted more than 70 patents in the US in diverse technologies, such as jet engines, auxiliary power units, environmental control systems, motors, controllers, radio frequency identification devices (RFID), mechanical and electrical devices and systems, and money handling systems.
David also has extensive experience involving injunction and summary judgment proceedings as well as in copyright infringement actions focused on software. He is licensed to practice in California and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
